The Oasis is located on historic Highway 10, also known as Villard Street. Theodore Roosevelt gave his first public speech at the rail depot that parallels Villard.

Just half a block away is the beautiful campus of Dickinson State University, a wonderful landscaped area perfect for walking.

A little farther down Villard is the best restaurant in Dickinson, The BrickHouse Grille, also located in an historic building in downtown Dickinson. Fresh fish is flown in from Hawaii and all breads and desserts are homemade, before dining you can enjoy an array of martinis in the bar, there is also an extensive wine menu to choose from.

Our large rooms are constructed from solid block, original construction, most have been renovated in Italian tiles and feature a vanity in the room as well as a vanity in the bathroom. All of this combines to provide you with very comfortable night's stay.

We encourage you to come visit us and our friendly staff.

Authentic North Dakota Lodging

The Larsen family built this historic hotel in 1967; for many years after it opened, the Oasis was the place to stay for special events; honeymoons, graduations, family gatherings. The current owners are renovating the hotel to revive the traditions.
